Our own site in China where suppliers deliver cargo. Receiving, inspection, storage, transhipment and shipment preparation run under our operational control.
The terminal is where cargo stops depending on supplier schedules and comes under the control of the logistics operator. SilkPort Logistics receives goods from factories and trading platforms, checks them against documents, records their condition, packs them where needed and stores them until the shipment is formed. This removes the task of coordinating multiple Chinese suppliers from the client and moves the completeness check to before departure rather than after arrival.

Frequently asked questions
How long can cargo be stored at the terminal?
Free storage time and the rates after it are fixed in the contract for the specific project. We agree them before the first consignment arrives, so storage terms are known in advance.
Will I receive confirmation that the cargo arrived?
Yes. For each consignment we record the number of packages, weight, dimensions and packaging condition, with photos where required. This is shared with you before the shipment is formed.
